With over 20 years of real estate experience, Burke serves as Chief Investment Officer for Lindell Investments. He is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing new investments as well as portfolio construction and management.
Burke previously served as Head of Capital Markets for another Tampa-based family office, Sembler Investments. In that role, he was responsible for sourcing and structuring both debt and equity for Sembler’s development and acquisitions verticals. Burke previously held another leadership position as Director of Debt Capital Markets for Swiss investment manager Stoneweg, where he closed over $1bn in Senior and Subordinate loans across multiple capital sources, both via credit facilities and stand-alone/bi-lateral financings. Prior to moving to Tampa, Burke was an integral member of the Capital Markets team at Chicago-based Heitman Capital Management. There he participated in closing over $5bn in financing volume annually across ~75 transactions, covering multiple capital sources, property types, and risk strategies.
Burke began his career with PGIM Real Estate, first as an Originations Analyst then as a Credit Associate, after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business school with a BSBA and concentration in Finance.
