Firm Background

Lindell Investments Inc. is a Florida for-profit corporation formed in 1997 by Chairman Carl Lindell Jr. of Tampa. Originally founded to facilitate Mr. Lindell’s own real estate related activities, the firm has grown under Mr. Lindell’s leadership to hold both private and syndicated investments. At present, the firm manages approximately $160MM in equity commitments out the door into projects worth in excess of $3B. Lindell Investments Inc’s investment pipeline routinely encompasses over $500MM of deal volume in process.

Diversified Family Office

Lindell Investments and its affiliates are best classified as a diversified family office with a focus on private capital deployment into real estate development & investment, opportunistic bridge & mezzanine lending, and lower-middle market private equity opportunities.

Over the last 20+ years, Lindell Investments has participated real estate projects and operating companies with values far in excess of $5 billion. Lindell Investments has a long track record of direct sponsorship experience as well as profitable relationships with reputable developers and entrepreneurs across multiple industries and asset classes.

Primary functions of the Firm and its affiliates include:

Real Estate

Risk Profile
Opportunistic, Development, Value Add, Distressed, Special Situations.
Check Size
$5MM-$15MM preferred; Will consider $1MM+ and up to $20MM.
Structure
LP equity, JV Equity, Co-GP equity, Preferred Equity, Mezzanine Loans, Senior Bridge Loans.
Geographic Focus
Primarily the high-growth I-4 and I-75 corridors in Florida from Tampa to Orlando and Tampa to Naples, with appetite to invest in other secondary markets across the state of Florida as well as other major markets throughout the Southeastern US.
Asset Types
Asset class agnostic. Portfolio includes multifamily, residential, lot development, office, retail, & industrial.
Investment Characteristics
Areas of high population & job growth; proximity to major demand drivers such as experiential retail, major grocers, job generators, and major planned public or private investment; hard-to-replicate locations with water views, walkability, and/or easy accessibility of transportation and community amenities.

Risk Profile
Opportunistic, Special Situations.
Check Size
Up to $10MM.
Structure
LP Equity, JV Equity, Preferred Equity, Mezzanine Loans, Senior Credit Facilities.
Geographic Focus
Primarily the Tampa Bay Area, with appetite to invest in businesses across the state of Florida.
Asset Types
Business-to-business focused lower-middle market operating companies with EBITDA profiles of $2MM-$10MM. Established companies with high gross margins and/or are in need of growth capital.
Investment Characteristics
Management Buyouts, Buy-and-build opportunities, secondary take-out opportunities.
